Bradley Weiss
Mr. Weiss is a seasoned real estate professional with over twenty five (25) years experience in real estate finance, management and oversight.  Previously, Mr. Weiss was the co-founder and managing principal of CSW Associates, a national provider of real estate, mortgage and asset management services specializing in the acquisition, restructuring, liquidation and securitization of non and underperforming assets.  CSW was created to acquire, manage, service and liquidate assets from failed banks, thrifts and other institutional holders during the savings and loan crisis.  Under his direction, the company grew, with over 200 employees and offices in seven (7) major cities, to be one of the largest asset management providers to the Resolution Trust Corporation, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and other governmental agencies and institutional investors, including several Wall Street investment firms.  Mr. Weiss and his team were responsible for several billion dollars worth of assets from over 120 failed banks and thrifts across the country.  Managed assets included single family residential, condominium, time share, commercial (all types), multifamily, hotel, land, bank branches, joint ventures, and others.  After selling CSW in 1995, Mr. Weiss remained as Executive Vice President with the successor company (a publicly held company) until 1997.

Since that time, Mr. Weiss has owned and operated a group of financial entities, including a Florida mortgage lender, a title company, real estate services company, and various investment entities.  Through those entities, he oversees and participates in the origination, underwriting, servicing and management of both loan and real estate assets.  Over the course of the past ten years, Mr. Weiss and his companies have originated, underwritten, serviced and/or managed thousands of assets valued in the billions of dollars.  His accounting (Mr. Weiss is a Florida CPA, formerly with Arthur Andersen & Co.) background and skills lend themselves to a strong and disciplined approach to assessing risk, underwriting and due diligence, and effective, yet efficient, asset management.

On a consulting basis, Mr. Weiss’ clients have included financial institutions, government agencies, bankruptcy trustees and a local university, with engagements ranging from drafting of business plans to hands on management, operation and restructuring of debt and equity positions.  Asset types varied, including single assets valued in the hundreds of thousands to asset portfolios valued in the hundreds of millions, covering all asset categories (residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial).  In addition to asset management and workout activities, he has performed and overseen specialized, niche market due diligence and analysis of solvent and insolvent thrifts on behalf of government agencies and investor groups.  Such engagements were performed on well over 40 different savings and loan institutions throughout the country, working closely with outside accountants and law firms, resulting in the evaluation and structuring of contracts to acquire the targeted institution(s) and/or their asset portfolios.

Mr. Weiss also served as an independent director of BankUnited Financial Corporation (“BUFC”), a publicly held, Florida based bank holding company, where he participated as a member of the real estate advisory, audit and corporate governance committees.

As an active community participant, Mr. Weiss served the city of Weston, Florida (where he and his family live) as the Vice Chairman of the city’s Planning and Zoning Board for eight years.  Mr. Weiss graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Finance and completed his accounting studies at the University of Miami.
